wow you're getting hosed in that deal, 84 months is a terrible option, you'll hate the car well before it's paid off, 500.00/mth for a POS, not a good deal at all and your interest rate is terrible too, should have shopped around some more.

Why is an 84 month open loan a bad idea? I can pay it off as quickly as I want and it keeps the payments lower than they would be otherwise. We all know i'm not going to have this car the full 7 years...

...and since when is 3.9% a "terrible" interest rate???? I had a rate of 6.5% on the Charger!

I'd also like for you to qualify your statement that the 2010 Speed3 is a POS... So far what i've seen is light years ahead of most of the crap Dodge has been putting together (build quality, features). If by POS you mean it's not the fastest car on the road... then good for you, I already stated I dont care about that. I'm not looking for a racecar, i'm looking for a quick, fun to drive daily driver which is exactly what I got.

...and not to split hairs but it's $478/month.... just sayin' ....

P.S. Do not drive that thing on stock rubber in the snow that is coming. You will kill yourself.......if you can get it to move =P If you have to drive it on stock rubber, leave litteraly 5x the distacnce it would take to stop in normal conditions. Those tires have 0 stopping ability in even light snow.

What I mean is that most Dodge cars have bare-bones features, and poor interior quality (see base Caliber, Sebring/Avenger, Nitro, etc). The SRT line may be an exception but even still for the price of those cars they should be better. Sure, they perform great but they seem like they were thrown together by cutting up the finest rubbermaid bins they could find. I didn't figure that was a big secret, it's one of their greatest weaknesses.

While the Caliber SRT4 can be modded into a monster, it really is a cheap-feeling vehicle. I HATED the interior (other than the SRT seats and accents). When you consider the fact that the Mazda, which is comparable in price to the SRT-4, has features like heated power seats with memory, auto leveling HID headlights that adjust to point in the direction you turn, LED taillights, automatic dual zone climate control, push-button start with advanced key fob and sensor buttons on doors to enter without even taking the keys out of your pocket, Bose premium sound system w/ GPS navigation, premium Mazda SPEED floor mats and door sill guards, ALL STANDARD... all this not to mention the interior looks phenomenal with the nice materials, accent lighting, red stitching and over-all high quality... it really shows you how far Dodge has fallen behind.







Hopefully Chrysler gets their act together and starts improving their interiors.... since it IS where you spend the majority of your time with a car.

I will say the mazdaS3 does have a nice interior. I still prefer the previous generation for looks.

You have to remember that Chrysler as a whole was raped by Daimler for their cash flow with the "merger" and cut to pieces by Cerberus. This left no future development, no cash flow, no employees, no nothing.

Now with the current situation, Sergio has the task of re hiring engineers and getting future product in the pipeline. Right now they are doing small changes with a lot of the current vehicles. The Patriot and Caliber have all new interiors for 2010 and is leaps and bounds ahead of what they started out as. The new Ram has brand new interior and it really looks good. I think slowly but surely you will see an improvement in all the current vehicles, but the real changes will be coming with new product in 2011 or 2012. Hopefully, they can make it that long.

I hope so too--since I work for them. lol

O.K swatseed we get it already .....he paid alot for his car. We all posted our thoughts and Chris purchased his car, its time to let him enjoy it and enjoy a little extra in the bank every month. Also in Chris' defense he has always voiced his gripes about DCx's bland styling as long as I have known him, this isn't something new just because he bought a different brand of vehicle.

You may feel that he got ass raped with his purchase and you have to remember that he has a pretty good paying job to boot, but he now also has twice the car you have. . The Speed 3 will run circles around your car on a road course/autoX, and mod for mod you will be even at the end of the drag strip, and a top speed run....... you will need your binoculars to see him because he will have put bus lengths on you. The new exterior styling is in the eye of the beholder and the new interior is really nice and has a ton of options/features and gadgets. His resale wont be great but if he holds onto it for 3 to 3.5 yrs his equity will be back in the black and he will be on a level playing field again Let that one simmer in your head for a bit

If he would have spent 40K on a challenger you would have been swinging from his nuts right now.
